At Moe & District Netball Association, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and positive environment where every child has the opportunity to participate, learn and grow.
Inclusiveness is at the heart of our association. We value every player, regardless of their ability or experience, and strive to ensure everyone feels welcome, valued and included.
Teamwork is an essential part of netball and our wider community. We encourage players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, families and supporters to work together, communicate respectfully and support one another.
We believe strongly in sportsmanship. Players are encouraged to play fairly, respect their opponents and umpires, celebrate effort and success, and respond positively when things do not go their way. Winning is important, but developing character, resilience and respect is even more important.
We are committed to the development of netball skills and providing opportunities for children to improve their confidence, knowledge and ability. We want players to be challenged, encouraged to practise and supported to reach their individual potential.
Most importantly, we are committed to providing a safe environment for children to learn and grow. Children should feel physically and emotionally safe, supported by positive adults and encouraged to make mistakes, learn from them and keep trying.
Our decisions are guided by one central principle: the best interests of our children. Whether we are considering competition, coaching, player development, facilities, policies or club activities, we aim to make decisions that support the safety, wellbeing, development and enjoyment of our young people.
Together, we want M&DNA to be more than a place to play netball. We want it to be a community where children develop skills, build friendships, learn resilience, experience belonging and become confident, respectful and supportive members of their community.
